Kreativpiloten Deutschland Award

Every year on behalf of the German Federal Government we honor 32 companies from the cultural and creative industry and their interfaces to other industries, a tradition we have carried on now since 2010. The award is aimed at companies, self-employed individuals, company founders and projects, regardless of whether they are working alone or with an entire team, and whether the idea is still on paper or already up-&-running. We look for people with the courage, drive and implementation skills to transform a good idea into re-ality.

Title holders are deliberately not given prize money. Instead, they receive the support of a one-year mentoring program that bolsters the cultural and creative industry implementation of their ideas and sharpens their business proficiency. Workshops provide them with new impulses and they receive personal supervision from experts. They become part of the “Cultural and Creative Pilots” network, a platform cooperating across all age groups, and receive national media attention and solid advice for their own public relations work.

Jury

The selection is a two-step process. Our assessors first go through all the submissions and then invite a short-list of 96 applicants to the second round for selection interviews, because we’re eager to know not just the ideas, but above all the people behind them.
The jury is comprised of experts from the worlds of business, culture and politics offering the applicants direct feedback on their ideas in half-hour interviews. Finally, the jury convenes and together its members select the new German Cultural and Creative Pilots winners.

Application

Applications can be submitted online at www.kultur-kreativpiloten.de or by post.
